Among the significant enhancements is a polished user interface, streamlining access to frequently used features with a single tap. This refinement enables riders to navigate effortlessly without exiting the screen, ensuring a more user-friendly and seamless experience.
Ola e-scooters will now feature dedicated Ola Maps for navigation, introducing convenient functionalities like ‘Find My Scooter’ and ‘Share location from app.’ Additionally, Ola Maps offers users the ability to personalize their travel experience by saving and designating favorite locations.

A new addition is the AI-Based Indicator Control, which automatically turns off the scooter’s indicators, reducing the need for manual commands from the rider. Notably, this feature learns and adapts to users’ preferences, personalizing the experience based on increased usage over time.
In the upcoming MoveOS 4 update, Ola Electric is set to introduce new safety features and enhance existing ones. Among the additions are AI-powered tamper alert and fall alert features, providing an advanced level of security. Additionally, the update will include hill descent control, a safety measure that regulates the electric scooter’s speed when descending, offering riders improved control and a safer experience on downhill terrains.
Ola has reinforced safety measures with the introduction of a biometric app lock, employing facial recognition or fingerprint authentication through its smartphone application. To enhance user convenience, a passcode recovery option is available via cloud and Bluetooth in case a rider forgets their passcode. Despite these advanced safety features, Ola acknowledges the simplicity of a physical key, emphasizing its intuitive use for riders.
A novel addition is the garage mode, enabling users to manage multiple scooters conveniently through the Ola app interface. The update also promises faster Hypercharging (Ola’s term for fast charging), along with improvements in regenerative capabilities and more accurate charging time predictions.
Ola’s latest update introduces the ‘Care Mood,’ showcasing savings and carbon emissions reduction. The ‘Concert Mode’ lets riders play the same song on multiple scooters, creating a coordinated light show for an impromptu concert experience. The ‘Ride Journal’ feature offers riders stats like average speed, battery use, range, efficiency, money saved, and distance covered. Additionally, the Ola Electric App now includes a dark mode for enhanced user experience.
