Ola has reinforced safety measures with the introduction of a biometric app lock, employing facial recognition or fingerprint authentication through its smartphone application. To enhance user convenience, a passcode recovery option is available via cloud and Bluetooth in case a rider forgets their passcode. The update also promises faster Hypercharging (Ola’s term for fast charging), along with improvements in regenerative capabilities and more accurate charging time predictions.

Ola’s latest update introduces the ‘Care Mood,’ showcasing savings and carbon emissions reduction. The ‘Concert Mode’ lets riders play the same song on multiple scooters, creating a coordinated light show for an impromptu concert experience. The ‘Ride Journal’ feature offers riders stats like average speed, battery use, range, efficiency, money saved, and distance covered. Additionally, the Ola Electric App now includes a dark mode for enhanced user experience.
