The Xiaomi 14 smartphones were the first devices to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. They launched in China in November of last year, but so far, the smartphones remained exclusive to the Chinese market. Recently, Xiaomi teased the global debut of the series, and now, the company has confirmed the date.
If you were waiting for the devices to be available in your region, you would want to mark your calendars. The Xiaomi 14 series is stepping outside of China on February 25, which is less than three weeks away from now. This global debut will take place at the MWC 2024 event set for Barcelona.
Main Highlights of the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro
Till now, we’ve had the launch of the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro in China. The company is yet to announce the premium 14 Ultra smartphone. As for the others, the standard model comes with a 6.36-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1200 x 2670 pixels. It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR 10+.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro comes with a larger display, at 6.73 inches, with a resolution of 1400 x 3200 pixels. It has the same display features as the standard model. That’s basically the noticeable difference that lies between the Pro and the standard model. The rest of the specs are the same, except the battery.
Under the hood, both the Xiaomi 14 phones come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This chip is paired with up to 1 TB of storage and 16 GB of RAM. As for the cameras, both phones have a triple 50 MP camera setup on the back. On the front, the two phones come with a 32 MP selfie shooter.
As for the battery, the Xiaomi 14 features a 4610 mAh battery, while the Pro features a 4880 mAh battery. The standard can charge at 90W, while the Pro charges at 120W.
