Learn more Table of Contents Table of Contents We’ve been talking about the recent LG OLED pre orders and it looks like Samsung are soon looking to retaliate as some early listings of the S95D have been spotted. This is a QD-OLED TV which compares well versus the LG G3, and its 55″, 65″, and 77″ variants are now on Amazon. Anyone slowly counting down the days to the S95D release date can now take a big step forward as it looks as if the S95D is close to launch, though we currently don’t know the exact day. Other brand-new models such as the QN85D is confirmed to be coming in just a few weeks time and is already available to pre order. Samsung S95D spotted on Amazon So, the big news is that the S95D is currently listed on Amazon, albeit as currently unavailable for the time being. One of the biggest changes to the S95D is the new OLED Glare Free technology. This in effect makes for a more matte finish, which may anger fans of the glossy finish, but it will set it apart from the S90D. They will also be getting a new third-generation QD-OLED panel for 20% brighter visuals. When can I pre order? Unfortunately we don’t yet know when you can pre order, as this detail has been emitted from the Amazon listing. Tracking down the S95D on the official Samsung store has also been a struggle, though this Reddit thread seems to show it appearing (for possibly a short amount of time, given we can’t find it now). As mentioned, another new model, the QN85D, has already gone up for pre order and will be coming out on March 21st according to Amazon. This sort of release time would also make sense for the S95D based on current predictions, but we’ll have to wait and see to make sure.
