Ever since the C4 and G4 pre orders went live on the official LG store, we’ve been keeping an eye on Amazon. Several models did indeed appear on Amazon, but only for pre order for a limited time – and we witnessed product listings come and go with price tag changes. To add to the confusion, some were delisted altogether, but it now looks like they’re back for good.
Back when we first spotted them both on Amazon, they had a release date set for March 11th, so we should see stock levels ramping up starting today, though many are listed as ‘temporarily out of stock’ for the time being. The new 2024 range will be fighting for the best OLED TV title, and these two will certainly be some of the most popular.
LG C4 OLED Series
Pros
Now up to 144Hz refresh rate at 4K
Native Chromecast support
Cons
Still no MLA like the G-series
Not a massive upgrade over the LG C3
LG G4 OLED Series
Pros
Bright second-gen MLA OLED panel
Up to 144Hz, ideal for gaming PCs
Upgraded Alpha 11 AI Chip
MLA now available in 83″ model too
Cons
Still no MLA in 97″ model
All sizes for LG C4 & LG G4 on Amazon, except 97″
Like we said, not everything is in stock right now, but we can see prices for most of them and they are indeed cheaper than the LG store, as we saw a couple weeks ago. To make it easy to find the right size for you, we’ve compiled all of the listings just below.
C4 OLED
See our where to buy LG C4 OLED TV guide to check out all retailers. As usual, the C4 will come in two additional sizes when compared to the G4 (42″ and 48″). All sizes are covered here.
G4 OLED
Like the C4, we also have a where to buy LG G4 OLED TV page to give you a wider range of retailers (in multiple regions). One model for the premium G4 is missing though, the massive flagship 97-inch.
When can I buy one?
Previously, Amazon revealed a March 11th release date, so we did expect stock to show up soon. On the other hand, the LG store lists the following week as the expected shipping date (starting March 18th), so there may be a little longer to wait until you can get your hands on either one.
We’ll be checking Amazon regularly to keep an eye on the available stock, so stay tuned with us if you don’t want to miss a launch day purchase. If you’re torn between the two, you can have a read through our LG C4 vs LG G4 OLED TV comparison to figure out the difference between the mid-range C-series and more premium G-series.
