If you’re looking to transform your gaming setup with a couple of new monitors, this two-in-one offer could be just for you. MSI is selling their ultrawide 342C QD-OLED gaming monitor for a discounted price – and on top of that, you also get a 27-inch monitor for absolutely free.
Tracking down the best gaming monitor may lead you to think about OLED panels. QD-OLEDs are an evolution of that, embedding Quantum Dot technology to help boost brightness levels. That’s what you get with this ultrawide gaming monitor from MSI, and you’re in for a treat. Plus, if you want to do some competitive gaming on the side, the extra FHD 170Hz display is an impressive free bonus.
Two monitors for the price of one at MSI
MSI is selling the MEG 342C QD-OLED for a reduced price of $779.00 – down from its usual $999.00 price tag. Alongside that $220 saving, you also get the Optix G27C5 E2 at no added cost. We think this serves as a great upgrade if you want an ultrawide monitor for immersive single-player titles, with a smaller 16:9 display for competitive games.

Is this deal good value for money?
Based on the sheer amount of cash to be saved, we definitely think that this deal is excellent value for money. Considering that the QD-OLED monitor alone has dropped down to $779.00, much cheaper than similar-spec alternatives such as the Alienware AW3423DW, it’s a good buy at this price. On top of that, the additional free 1080p monitor has a usual list price of $149.00.
Looking at the specs, the MSI MEG 342C offers a highly immersive experience, backed up by the QD-OLED panel which delivers stunning color accuracy and top-tier responsiveness. As for the Optix G27C5 E2, it is a pretty basic 1080p resolution, but this is ideal for esports titles thanks to the fast 170Hz refresh rate and much better in-game performance when playing at native resolution.
