Keeping things tidy and clean in your new home is essential, so a robot vacuum will certainly work great to help clean things up. Instead of upgrading all your devices, one of the easiest ways to smarten up at home is to get smart plugs. We reviewed the TP-Link Kasa Smart Plugs and loved them enough to award them with the Editors’ Choice badge. Not only are these affordable to start with, but they’re fantastic when on sale like they are now. “TP-Link’s Matter-enabled Kasa KP125M smart plug works with just about every smart home platform, supports lots of third-party integrations, and keeps track of how much energy your connected devices use,” our expert notes. If you have allergies (and even if you don’t) an air purifier will help keep down the pollutants in your new place. The Dyson Purifier Cool TP10 is a capable HEPA purifier that will handle your entire room. The coolest part is that it also doubles as a fan, cooling down the air by oscillating up to 350°. While we didn’t review this particular model, we loved one of the previous models, the Dyson Purifier Cool TP07.
The Samsung T7 Shield portable SSD, which is now heavily discounted, is the perfect choice to back up all your data before the big move. We reviewed the Samsung Portable SSD T7 when it came out and found it to be an excellent product. “It is an external solid-state drive that’s impervious to dust, rain, and tumbles. It’s a durable and secure choice for outdoor workers and travelers,” our review notes.
