Featuring 1080p resolution, a full-array LED backlight and Vizio’s easy-to-use SmartCast platform for access to all of your streaming apps, this is a perfectly capable set that we called “good for gaming or use as a second monitor, and it would work well as a bedroom or garage TV” in our review. It’s not going to win any awards, but if you just want to watch the games and have money left over for pizza it’s a solid choice.
This is an exceptional midrange television with a really deep price drop. A wide viewing angle and high brightness makes it ideal for big watch parties, and rapid response time means it’s as good for gaming as it is for sports.
It’s definitely a little pricey, but chopping 31% off puts this massive, top-quality screen comfortably in range for a home theater upgrade. We gave the Samsung S90C an Editors’ Choice award in our review, praising its color range and accuracy, incredible brightness and low input lag. We said it “produces a bright, colorful picture while costing significantly less than some other high-end OLED models.” There are tons of other cool features as well, including a solar-charging remote and the powerful Tizen smart platform.
