[ad_1]

Asus’s new tech always makes me amazed and the newly announced Asus ProArt lineup is no exception. Asus has expanded its premium creator series portfolio by announcing three new ProArt devices at Computex 2024 – the biggest high-tech trade show is now live in Taiwan. The latest lineup includes a laptop, a 2-in-1 convertible, and a tablet. Asus’s latest ProArt series aims at content creators and professional artists. Let’s delve into the details.

New Asus ProArt P16

The Macbook rival Asus ProArt P16 comes with a lightweight sturdier build and premium flagship specs. The ProArt P16 is powered by a new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor paired with a dedicated NVIDIA RTX 4070 graphics chip and an integrated NPU that is capable of 50 TOPS (Trillion operations per second).

Speaking of measurements, the machine is just 14.9mm thick and weighs 1.85 KG. Asus packs its signature 16-inch 4K Lumina OLED display, up to 64GB of RAM, and 2TB of SSD storage which is further expandable via an additional M.2 slot.

The P16 also has access to NVIDIA’s exclusive AI software like RTX Video, NVIDIA Broadcast, and the ChatRTX tech demo.

New convertible ProArt PX13

Asus ProArt Studiobook PX13 2-in1 versatile convertible laptop features a stunning 13-inch 3K OLED touchscreen display. The versatile 360-degree hinge allows seamless flipping between laptop, tablet, and tent modes. It features similar hardware specifications to the ProArt P16. This is another powerful option with a high portability factor for content creators.

The ProArt PZ13 – Asus’s first Snapdragon X chip powered tablet

In addition to the two new laptops, Asus also introduced its first tablet – the ProArt PZ13. The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon X chip, promising enhanced performance and power efficiency for heavy tasks such as video editing, 3D model rendering, and more. The Snapdragon X’s NPU unit can handle up to 45 trillion operations per second which enhances AI processing and overall performance.

The ProArt PZ13 has an impressive 13.3-inch 3K Lumina OLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 0.2ms response time, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The display is designed for precise color reproduction, essential for tasks like photo and video editing, said Asus. Additionally, the display is VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certified which ensures impressive detail in dark areas.

The display is Pantone validated which means you get professional-grade color accuracy while doing creative work. It also has Dolby Vision support, ensuring an immersive visual experience.

In terms of dimensions, the tablet is just 9mm thick and weighs just 870 grams. It packs a 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB PCle 4.0 NVMe SSD storage. The tablet runs on Windows 11 OS out of the box which also means it will support all the latest Windows 11 24H2 AI capabilities.

As for ports, Asus offers a limited set of port options for the ProArt PZ13 including two USB 4.0 type-C ports, an SD slot with a microSD adapter, and a display port. There is a 5MP Windows Hello PR webcam on the front and a 13MP rear camera with 4K/60fps recording capability.

The tablet supports a bunch of accessories including a detachable keyboard, a magnetic cover stand, and a stylus. It also has IP52-rated durability for water and dust resistance.

Pricing and Availability

Asus’s latest ProArt P16 and PX13 are already available for pre-order through Asus’s official website with starting prices of $1,899 and $1,699, respectively. The brand’s first tablet ProArt PZ13 starts at £1,199. However, Asus hasn’t announced a release date for the tablet but it is expected to be available in Q3 2024.
