For the dry skin ladies and lads might I introduce you to the Banila Co Clean It Zero Firming Cleansing Balm? As a long time fan of Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm I stopped using it a few years ago in the Winter months as it was making my skin a bit tight after use. I started re-using it when they introduced the Clean It Zero Firming formula. Totally a great pick for anyone with drier skin and let’s not forget this is truly the OG Korean Cleansing Balm! It’s soft, sorbet-like and it removes makeup easily! The best part is it’s on sale!
Head over to ulta.com and snag your favorite Banila Co Cleansing Balms during the Ulta Spring Haul Event! These retail for $25 but are now on sale for $17.50 plus you can use code 621225 for $3.50 off that which knocks the price down to $14!
Banila Co has changed a lot since I reviewed the original pink jar Banila Co Clean Cleansing Balm back in 2014. For one thing, it’s easier to get now! I used to order it from Korea! And another great change is it now comes in a variety of formulas one of which is this Firming formula that’s great for drier skin like my own!
Clean it Zero Firming Cleansing Balm contains a planted derived ceramide that acts to firm skin apparently. I’m not really interested in that and I’m not even sure it would work considering I’m rinsing it off. But that ceramide is also, a great source of moisture. This formula removes my makeup easily and doesn’t leave my tight or dry after use and I’m all about that!
How do you use a cleansing balm? If you’ve never used a cleansing balm it’s pretty neat. It has a soft balm consistency and is meant to be applied on dry skin. Simply massage it on and add a little bit of water to emulsify it. As it emulsifies it becomes milky and breaks down at which point you can easily rinse it off. Banila Co has always been great at remove makeup easily and in one step (if you aren’t one for removing your eye makeup before cleansing this works to break down eye makeup easily as well as the rest of your foundation, blush, etc…).
Banila Co Clean It Zero remains a great formula for removing makeup and this firming version gets the seal of approval from a dry skin girl!
