The game is currently only out for the PC via Steam and Xbox via Game Pass, meaning that those with just PlayStation and Nintendo consoles can’t play the game. While Palworld is certainly not the most graphically intensive game, it’s still a bit of a looker, even in its early-access form. Bar the odd game-breaking bug, glitch and exploits. We’ve decided to give you our pick of both the Nvidia and AMD graphics cards for Palworld. As per the official Palworld system requirements, which we have also captured below, you’re not going to need a massively powerful GPU to run the game. We always recommend aiming for somewhere between recommended and maximum when it comes to getting a new GPU, as this means it’ll likely serve you well for other, more graphical-intensive games. To get the best experience from Palworld, we would always recommend turning off motion blur and ensuring factors such as grass details and shadows are cranked up. Today’s best GPU deals Palworld system requirements OS: Windows 10 or later (64-Bit) Processor: i5-3570K 3.4 GHz 4 Core Memory: 16 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce GTX 1050 (2GB) DirectX: Version 11 Network: Broadband Internet connection Storage: 40 GB available space Now, let’s take a look at the two cards we would recommend, whether you’re siding with Team Red or Team Green. We have hand-tested both of these cards, and linked to our reviews below. First up it’s Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4070Ti Super, which is ideal if you’re looking to destroy the recommended specs, and max-out factors such as the overall effects quality, view distance and texture quality. Best Nvidia GPU for Palword: Gerforce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 2,670MHz boost, 2,340MHz base 336 x 150 x 63 mm ( 13.22 x 5.9 x 2.48 inch) Pros One of the top overclocks of the custom models Fantastic cooling solution with plenty of capacity Colorful and nice looking design compared to basic models Cons Much too high a price over the recommended price Rather large dimensions Still utilizes a 12VHPWR 16-pin power connector In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070Ti Super review, we awarded it a very strong four stars out of five. Why? That’s because this new kid on the block packs a ton of firepower, and makes it perfect for Palworld and a host of other games coming this year. Under the hood you’ve got a massive 16GB of VRAM, which makes light work of Palworld’s 2GB RAM minimum requirements. You’ll also be able to tap into Nvidia’s DLSS, which works stunningly well for those looking to crank up the graphics settings at higher resolutions. Nvidia has confirmed Palworld supports DLSS, too, so you’ll be ready to go. That means you’ll easily be able to run the game at max settings, and at 4K resolution, with very good frame rates. You may think it’s overkill for Palworld, but when you invest in a GPU, you should never buy it based on one game… it’s about what else is coming down the pipeline. With 16GB you’re going to be in a very strong position for at least the next two years when it comes to games releases – and able to enjoy High to Max settings in most titles. Best AMD GPU for Palword: AMD RX 5700 XT ASUS ROG Strix AMD Radeon RX 5700XT Overclocked 8G Pros Excellent value for money Comes to the table boasting the latest Navi architecture Great for 1440p gaming Cons Quite large in dimensions Does not come with ray-tracing The AMD RX 5700 XT may not be the newest card on the block, but it still packs one Hell of a punch for the money. It boasts half the amount of VRAM than the Nvidia 4070Ti, but for a game such as Palworld, you’ve still got plenty under the hood. If you’re a casual gamer, playing Fortnite, Palworld and other games that do not require a substantial amount of graphical horsepower, the 5700 XT could well be a wise choice for those on a tighter budget. As we highlighted in our AMD RX 5700 XT review, the card aligns with Nvidia’s 2060 Super – which is now considered one of the lower-end cards on the market. But don’t let that put you off. In our testing, we found it to be an absolute beast at 1440p gaming, acing the likes of CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, F1 2019, and Far Cry with performance scores well over 100 FPS. Even in the likes of Metro Exodus and Shadow Of The Tomb Raider we saw around 60 FPS, which is staggering for a card at this price. The 5700 XT is perfect for Palworld and a host of other games at 1440p, even though you wouldn’t be amongst the high-end PCs. An alternative AMD card for those with a bit more to spend and after more power could be RX 7600 XT, which is more akin to a 4060Ti.
