This year, Samsung may have something special for its foldable lineup. Traditionally, the company launches only two devices that go under the Z Fold and Z Flip series. However, ongoing rumors suggest that there might be not one but two versions of Galaxy Z Fold 6 this year. Some speculate that it could be a more affordable FE device, whereas some are keen on it being an Ultra device. Recent news indicates a potential arrival of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra this year.
The information was reported by GalaxyClub, the publication has found a model number that hints at an “Ultra” version for the Fold series. To recall, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has the model number “SM-F94 6“, while the next vanilla Z Fold 6 will get the model number “SM-F95 6.” In comparison, the Galaxy.S24 Ultra bears a model number “SM-S92 8.” Notice that the model number of the Ultra device ends at “8”. Well, the source has found a model number SM-F958, which they believe belongs to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 lineup, but since there is an “8” at the end, it will have an Ultra branding.
