Nothing’s sub-brand CMF is targeting budget-conscious consumers. Until now, we have seen accessories from the brand including wireless earphones. Now, it’s time for CMF to launch its first phone: the CMF Phone 1. The company has been teasing the phone for quite some time now, but now we have a deeper look at the specifications and pricing thanks to a leak. Before we get started, the information below is purely based on a leak and should be approached with caution.
CMF Phone 1 Leaked Specifications
The leak is covered by a reputable news site GSMARENA. The leak reveals all the key specifications of the device. To start with, the CMF Phone 1 will feature a 6.7″ FHD+ AMOLED panel. A 120Hz refresh rate will further enhance this, ensuring a smoother experience. Furthermore, the phone is powered by the Dimensity 7300 SoC. It is an 8-core chipset and is based on a 4nm architecture ensuring high power and efficiency.
Gizchina News of the week
In the camera department, the CMF Phone 1 will feature a 50MP primary shooter along with a depth sensor. Unfortunately, CMF might not give an ultra-wide sensor to cut costs. For selfies, there will be a 16MP shooter present on the front.
Coming to the battery, expect a 5000mAh capacity fueling the phone. It will support fast charging of 33W. In the software department, the CMF Phone 1 will rock Android 14 OS. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner for additional security and 2TB expandable storage via microSD.
Pricing
The leak suggests two variants for the CMF Phone 1: 6/128GB and 8/128GB. They will have a price tag of INR 15,999 (~$191) & Rs 17,999 (~$215) respectively. Do note that these prices are after discount, so the retail price might be a little higher.
That said, the CMF Phone 1 seems like a promising option for budget-conscious consumers. The Dimensity 7300 SoC can be a good addition to the phone at this price range. With all the leaks and rumors coming around, the launch of the phone seems imminent.
