Hold on tight, gadget lovers, for Apple has just unwittingly provided us with info on the highly anticipated iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. We’re in for a treat with some significant enhancements thanks to MacRumors, who obtained mockups based on internal ideas. Check out the details.
iPhone 16 Pro Rumored Upgrades
First and foremost, consider size. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will both see a size increase, with the 16 Pro getting a 6.3-inch display and the Max getting a whopping 6.9-inch display. The inclusion of a 5x optical zoom telephoto lens is the driving factor behind this growth surge, making this advanced camera feature available on both models this time around.
Apple is embracing a more uniform design to say goodbye to button inconsistencies. The button configuration on the Pro versions will be familiar, but the interesting addition is the addition of a brand-new “Capture” button on the right side. This sleek, capacitive button, codenamed Nova, comes with a built-in force sensor and promises to be the video maestro consumers have been waiting for. Bloomberg’s renowned technology journalist Mark Gurman has already validated its capabilities as a formidable tool for recording video content.
Users who have grown fond of the multi-purpose Action button will be glad to hear that it is making a comeback with customizable functions. While there are no size changes this time, Apple adheres to the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” concept. Those who were interested in the leak suggesting a flush Action button would be disappointed to learn that it did not make the final cut. Nonetheless, the current design is commendable.
Moving on to materials, Grade 5 Titanium remains the star of the show, offering both Pro models with that unmistakable cool-to-the-touch feel. In terms of colors, Apple is keeping things under wraps for the time being, sticking with the tried-and-true silver (known as “White Titanium”) for testing purposes. However, there have been rumors of a surprise new hue joining the range, adding to the already busy rumor mill.
It’s worth mentioning that these features are still in the works, and Apple is notorious for making last-minute changes. Nonetheless, one thing is certain: the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will be formidable competitors in the tech industry. With larger screens, the addition of a dedicated video button, and the prospect of a new eye-catching color, the excitement is at an all-time high.
