The LG C4 OLED TV is finally hitting storefronts and the official LG store has some pre order bonuses currently running. The C4 is included in an offer which sees you save 25% on a selected soundbar when bought together. While that sounds decent, it doesn’t really offer that much incentive given the high cost of the brand-new OLED.
We will give LG one thing, pairing the LG C4 OLED with a powerful soundbar is a must-have if you want to create a booming home theater or immersive gaming setup, so it’s not all bad. We wish we had a wider choice of soundbars though, as you are stuck with choosing a particular model.

When buying from the official site, LG are advertising 25% off the SC9S Soundbar when paired with the C4 OLED. You can see the full details of this promotion here. There is a similar deal running for the more premium G4 which gets 25% off the SG10TY Soundbar instead. While this does save you $200, it isn’t a whole lot off compared to the entire cost of the bundle.
Other pre order bonuses come in the form of 5% back in LG rewards to save on future purchases from the LG store and free wall mounting or TV stand set-up as mentioned here. Unfortunately though the official wall mount is sold separately, so you don’t even get this for free. These promotions will be running right up until March 17.
Should I pre order the LG C4 OLED TV?
Despite us thinking that the pre order bonuses could be a tad more generous, there’s no escaping the fact that the LG C4 OLED TV will be a fantastic addition to any living space. The $200 off the soundbar is not too shabby if you’re really looking for a good bundle on a new-gen TV. However, if you’ve already got the best soundbar for TV ready to go, this bonus doesn’t offer you much.
Deciding whether you should pre order or not is really up to you. We’d fully recommend the C4 based on the excellent performance of the previous iterations, and the range of pre order bonuses are a nice addition if you want to be an early adopter.
