Oppo Reno 11’s Global Variant Could Launch On January 11, 2024: Here’s Everything We Know

[ad_1]

The Oppo Reno 11 series was released in China last month. The series consists of two variants: the Reno 11 and the Reno 11 Pro. A report claims that the regular version will have a different design element ahead of the international debut.

Global Variant’s Renders Suggest Different Camera Bump Design

According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Oppo Reno 11 will feature a camera module different from its Chinese version. Though it will carry the same triple camera setup, the device will feature the ultrawide sensor “besides” the telephoto lens. This model, with a slightly different camera module, will also launch in India.

On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 11 Pro’s global version has a camera module similar to the Chinese version of the regular Reno 11. While the former could feature the Dimensity 8200 or Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, the latter will run on the Dimensity 1080 SoC, indicating that it will be a mid-ranger.

Here’s When The Smartphones Could Launch Globally

Oppo Malaysia has started teasing the Reno 11 series, revealing a January 13 launch date for a ColorOS 14 event. However, the smartphones will be available for pre-orders in the region starting from January 11, 2024, indicating that the launch could occur the same day. The Indian launch could take place on the same day as well.

Other details already confirmed by the brand include support for 67W wired charging for the regular variant and 80W wired charging for the Pro variant. Although the company hasn’t started to tease the smartphone in India, it should begin the promotional campaign anytime now.

Reno 11 And Reno 11 Pro Chinese Specifications

Both smartphones have already arrived in China, which reveals the complete specifications. The Reno 11, for instance, comes with a 6.7-inch OLED screen that supports 950 nits peak brightness and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the regular version is powered by the Dimensity 8200 (4nm) SoC. It features a triple rear camera that contains a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 32MP (f/2.0) telephoto sensor, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor.

On the other hand, the Reno 11 Pro comes with a 6.74-inch OLED screen that supports a peak brightness of 1,600 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, this model runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC (4nm) and has a similar triple camera setup on the rear panel. While the Reno 11 costs RMC 2,499, about Rs. 30,000 for the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the Pro version starts at RMB 3,499, about Rs. 41,000.
