If you venture to an Apple Store this Sunday, don’t be surprised if it opens and closes at a different time than usual. MacRumors reports that at least 70 Apple Stores in the US are slated to operate with reduced store hours on January 21st, citing the company’s own website. The change seems to affect many Apple stores based in large cities such as Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago. The company has tagged each outlet with a “special store hours” asterisk for this Sunday, causing them to open later and then close earlier than normal.

Apple didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. But the company likely needs to prepare its retail staff for the upcoming launch of the Apple Vision Pro, the company’s augmented reality headset. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple Stores in the US will be holding a rare three-hour meeting with retail staff, possibly to train them on how to demo the headset to the public. The Vision Pro is not only the company’s first AR headset, it’s also going to retail for $3,499 and up. The high price means many interested consumers will probably want to try out the device before deciding whether to buy one.
