February may be the month of romance, but Disney+ is light on the mushy stuff and heavy on the action this month. A popular Star Wars animated series kicks off its final season, The Marvels comes to streaming, and more. Here are our picks for the best new movies and series streaming on Disney+ in February 2024.The Marvels (Feb. 7)
This one wasn’t in theaters all that long, and it definitely inspired a lot of talk on the commercial viability of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But taken on its own, The Marvels has a lot to recommend in it, including Iman Vellani’s charming turn as Kamala Khan in her first big-screen appearance. It’s also refreshingly short, dispensing with the idea that every one of these movies has to be an epic.Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Season 3 (Feb. 21)
The third and final season of The Bad Batch kicks off with Clone Force 99 contending with the newly-formed Empire and their place in a galaxy that is going through intense changes. We also see the return of fan-favorite character Asajj Ventress, who last time we checked was dead? It’s Star Wars, baby, anything can happen. The first three episodes premiere today.Iwájú (Feb. 28)

Set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria, new animated series Iwájú sees Disney collaborating with African company Kugali for an original coming-of-age story in which two young people from opposite sides of society come together to reveal secrets about their world and themselves.
